Alan Swan is the director of music content at RTÉ 2FM and editorially responsible for all music programming output on the station. In his role, Alan has been instrumental in bringing new Irish music to the airwaves. Through the yearly RTÉ 2FM Rising List, the station has highlighted the very best of new & upcoming Irish talent & music. A multi Irish radio advertising / IMRO-PPI radio award winner, Alan is also a member of the European Broadcast Union Eurosonic Expert Group specialising in youth music programming.
