Sheena Madden is the founder of Amplify Agency – a specialist communications and PR firm dedicated to helping independent musicians, small businesses and not-for-profits define their differences and amplify their brands. With a background in journalism and communications, Sheena spent years writing about music, arts and theatre before joining RTÉ Radio’s press office, where she immediately gravitated towards promoting the national broadcaster’s alternative music output. With RTÉ, she worked on partnerships with organisations such as First Music Contact, the BBC and the New York Festivals as well as on-the-ground at live music events such as Eurosonic, Electric Picnic and Sea Sessions.  Sheena works with music clients ranging from international festivals (EXIT, Sziget, Secret Solstice) to independent musicians (God Knows [Rusangano Family], In Their Thousands, Bodies). Her clients regularly feature on radio across Ireland and beyond, in newspapers, magazines, blogs and on top Spotify playlists such as New Music Friday UK, A Breath of Fresh Éire, An Alternative Éire, Fresh Finds.
